This last development of the tree study combined what was gathered from creating the first two pieces. The colors and blend of the leaves made the tree appear more 'alive' which was also emphasized and exaggerated with the addition of a human heart inside the tree. The crazy branches from the first development were utilized here to help show that the tree has grown around the heart. The branches along with the gel medium and the small keys that were added helped to create great texture on this flat surface.
